Did you know: You only get three attempts at part two and three of the ADI certification.


Part 2
You must provide a suitable vehicle which:
  • is properly taxed
  • is a saloon or estate car in proper working condition with seatbelts in proper working order
  • is capable of the normal performance of vehicles of its type, with manual transmission
  • has right-hand steering
  • has a readily adjustable seat for a forward-facing front-seat passenger
  • is not displaying L plates

The test lasts about 1 hour and is conducted by an SEADI. The test consists of an eysight test and a test of driving technique.
A very high standard of driving is expected. the routes will include motorways and/or dual carriage ways.
