Did you know: You only get three attempts at part two and three of the ADI certification.


Part 1
This IT based assessment comes in two sections, a multiple choice quiz. and a video based hazard perception test.
In order to pass the theory test you must get a score of 85% or more, but not less than 80% in any of the four sections:
  • Road procedure
  • Traffic signs and signals; car control;pedestrians; mechanical knowledge
  • Driving test; disabilities law
  • Publications; instructional techniques

The hazard perception test consists of a brief introduction and then 14 video clips designed to test your recognition of various hazards such as vehicles, pedestrians and road conditions. The time allowed is 1 1/2 hours. When you have passed this test you will be invited to apply for the second test.
